"But in the end, he manages to resolve the question for himself - more or less
. He finally comes to accept his own life, to understand that no matter how bewitched and haunted he is, he
has to accept reality as it is, to tolerate the presence of ambiguity within himself." - Paul Auster
Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Catherine studied Art History and Fine Arts at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee where she also developed a passion for Spanish and Latin American Culture and dialects. Having studied and worked in Madrid and Buenos Aires, Catherine's Spanish language capacity has enabled her to combine experience and knowledge by integrating Rumble en Espanol through resources in Mexico, Argentina, and Spain. Equally as stimulating, her interest in art education has taken her from planning and implementing community education/outreach programs for a fine art museum in Nashville to volunteering at the SB Mental Health Association by teaching a weekly art class. | ||||

"From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to the earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free." -Jacques Yves Cousteau Clinton Hollister is a Santa Barbara native who spent much of his childhood exploring the world's natural bounty through research and photography; his travels have taken him to virtually every ocean in the world. He received an award from Aqua Magazine for underwater photography at age 14, researched Minke whales in Australia during high school, and worked after college on a Great White Shark boat in Gansbaai, South Africa. Today he attends Brooks Institute and assists for celebrity and fashion photographer Richard McLaren. Clinton will be curating Rumble Art 2011. |
"We could stand for a century, staring with our heads cocked in the broad daylight at this thing: joy, landlocked in bodies that don't keep, dumbstruck with the sweetness of being." -Joanna Newsom Amy is the kind of girl who has more art than wall space to hang it on, but still can't stop buying new prints. She moved to Santa Barbara in 2005 to attend the University of California and decided to pursue what she loved over what her parents may have considered 'practical', resulting in a degree with high honors in Art History and a minor in English. During her studies she developed an intense passion for modern and contemporary art, and she is continually intrigued by how artists are able to broaden art's definition and succeed in a digital world. Last year she began an impressive social media campaign for Rumble Art, and now manages all things web-related for our amazing fair. And yes, her hair is naturally that color. |

A Mexico City native who lived in Canada for five years, Luis is a self-taught photographer, dj, blogger and music fanatic.
After spending his adolescence in Vancouver - a period that deepened
his profound appreciation for all that is beautiful about Mexican culture - he returned to Mexico City at the
age of 15. There, he found himself in a whirlwind of music, art, aesthetic, and cultural richness that he had missed during his time
in Canada. While studying at university, he began a blog/online radio with fellow friends called
thespacefarm.com, and soon after had the opportunity to direct music videos
for bands, photograph artists for some of Mexico's most important music magazines, and interview some of the country's new
talent as well as established international acts. Through his work with The Space Farm, he developed a love of photography
which has provided the medium for the perfect blend of his artistic passions. Recently he has experimented with audio and plans on
doing more pieces in the future. |
