ABOUT RUMBLE ART

As Santa Barbara's international contemporary art fair, Rumble Art is creating a rumble in the art world by breaking down barriers between artists and the public, sparking new dialogue on world affairs through art, and raising funds to improve local and global human welfare - all while presenting one of the premier art events on the West Coast. Rumble Art takes place in Santa Barbara and coincides with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival to form the cornerstone of a burgeoning winter arts season in the city.

Unlike typical art fairs, we showcase cutting-edge individual artists directly, connecting artists' visions with art buyers and a culturally curious public in an invigorating setting. Each year, Rumble hosts a selection of paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures, film, and mixed media works from local and international artists for this groundbreaking exhibition. In addition, Rumble Art produces a variety of programs and events throughout the year, including film screenings and art shows, to provide an open forum for the creative mind and to foster a more expansive interest in the visual arts.

Each year, Rumble Art donates a portion of the proceeds from all sales to charitable groups in an effort to foster social change through art. Last year we were pleased to donate to The Unity Shoppe of Santa Barbara and the Janada L. Batchelor Foundation for Children in Tanzania.

Rumble Art is funded in part by the Community Events & Festivals Program using funds provided by the City of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission.
